I usually let the product speaks for itself. And once in awhile, I’d like to share the story behind the jewelry we make.

This time, I am going to share with a story about a pearl ring which has been kept for decades by owner, as you can imagine, owner is very fond of this ring. It’s a serious decision for owner to make up her mind to remake the ring that bough by her father many years ago.

I definitely spent quite some time to discuss with owner to find out her preferred style and printed a few different 3D models for her to try and check. And then finally we narrowed her preference and she gave me a GO. You probably think She and I spent a lot of time on ring style discussion, no, we didn’t. We actually spent more time on talking about how important this ring means to her and some other jewelry stories related to her parents.

I have to admit that even I provided 1:1 scale 3D model to customers to wear and try, in most cases, they feel NOTHING. This is a shocking truth after we started the jewelry making service. However, we are used to it now. We still like to show customers rendering pictures and occasionally provided 3D model for them to wear before go to production.

Now, the remake task has been done and the Japanese pearl is as beautiful as ever. This ring carries profound love and family memories and will go on to next generation.
