Titanium Ring

There is no denying the power of 3D printing as a tool for creation, and we have been utilizing this technology to harness our creativity and produce any style of jewelry.

And this time, as a production sample, we 3D printed a titanium ring that we’ve been wanting to print for years. We polished the ring and then heated it to see how the titanium material changed color in a circular pattern. As an alternative, we can also use PVD coating to add a specific color. Several men’s jewelry from well-known brands is frequently manufactured using this technique. We tried both.

I have no intention to make this post like a science article but the process is so scientific and it’s really fun to watch the colors shifting.

Let us just enjoy the result we have achieved, and one thing is for sure that now we can make titanium jewelry too.

We have a short video recorded the color change when heated.
